NICOLA DRY CLEANING
We chose to use Nicola Dry Cleaning in the West end as it is located in a vibrant corner next to a local favorite Greenhorn cafe. Bill and Anna have been running this business for over 20+ years in a building that is ingrained as a heritage building that's over 80 years old. Many generations have grown with this building in their life and remains an important part of this neighborhood block.

This project was put together in conjunction with multiple creative minds. The idea was conceived by Roman Agee (photographer) and Justin Pelletier (videographer) to create an encompassing story that revolves around Nicolas Dry Cleaning’s unique character and our friends Jas & Kyoshi wearing our ADAPTURE collection.

The story follows Kyoshi as he’s picking up his Standard White Long Sleeve from the dry cleaners. There’s some sense of oddity as he’s ringing the service bell and not getting a response from Jas as she’s tuned in to her music. Jas nonchalantly acknowledges him and informs him that the shirt is not ready for pickup. He spots his shirt on the conveyor belt and Jas finds the shirt, but with a little added magic. Kyoshi insists that it's not his shirt, but she throws it at him and radicalizes him into a state of “rad”. As the powers overwhelm him, the first instinct is to snatch more tie-dye shirts as the shirts awaken something within that changed his life.
